I have a beautiful grown daughter, Nichole, and a wonderful husband Bob. I have been attending New Life since October 1995 and this has always been my “home” church. It’s an interesting story how I came to be on staff here back in 2004. I was downsized from a well loved career of 15 years in which I was a Computer Technician, Network Administrator and a Hardware Asset Manager at a local hospital. I worked hard as a single mother going to night college for 11 years earning degrees to “succeed” in life. Once this was stripped away I was devastated. I was truly at my lowest point in life and felt “thrown away.”  While volunteering at New Life I was offered to come on staff to do the technical “stuff.”  This wasn’t in my plan. Little did I know that I had to learn to LET GO and LISTEN to what GOD wanted me to do. After putting up a good argument with God -  guess who won?  I finally had to die to myself and let go of what I thought my life and career should look like. I HAD to let God drive and let God have control of my life. I have learned through my trials that God is there for me to lean on. He knows what is best for me more than I do. My future can not be “controlled” by me. He is my Rock. He is my security.

It is an honor to work for the Lord as I know He will never “downsize” me and His benefits are always eternal.
